RECENT AUTISMRETORT HEADLINES
EDITOR'S NOTE: The Autism Retort wants your blog / news links no matter your opinions. Controversy and Autism go hand in hand. It is very difficult for parents to make sense of the disparaging view points. On many topics, there seem to be closed-minded folks on both sides, who don't want to hear what the "other side" thinks about an issue. I am a parent who is as confused as the next person on vaccines, but still suspect in my gut that something is not quite right when my daughter had first seizure following 4 month vaccinations and seizures out the whazoo after a vaccine cocktail at 6 Months that resulted in a week in the hospital. When was Mercury "removed"? I have yet to figure that out and it is very difficult to know who to believe. At times, it seems that both sides of an issue are on to something, but care more about defending their positions than helping kids with Autism. The Health Care system is clueless, bloated, and focused on treating symptoms at almost every level. We are currently living in the Wild West of Autism and I will attempt to cover all sides.
